Kalkan has its heart in the streets leading down to the harbour and vivid blue Mediterranean which rarely drops below 16˚C.

Kalkan offers three banks with cash machines, post office, English speaking doctor and dentist, well stocked supermarkets providing free delivery, pharmacies, Internet café and taxi rank.
Next to the harbour is a pebble beach with sunbeds and parasols. A dozen restaurants front the harbour with many more providing roof terrace dining and stunning sea views.
There is a good selection of cafes and local shops selling jewellery, pottery, leather goods, clothes, carpets and gifts.
On Thursday Kalkan holds its weekly market with a wide range of goods available. The site of the market is conveniently located only five minutes walk from the villa.
